Triple Lyoness Farm is looking to hire two full-time summer positions for the 2023 season!
On our family farm we strive to provide many industry learning experiences, which includes exposure and hands-on training in all aspects of our farm and could include opportunities for off-farm tours and work at the local vet clinic, auction mart, feed mill and neighbouring farms.
With our farming operations, we aim to maintain and improve our farm operations to protect and improve biodiversity, riparian zones and water bodies and soil health.
Beef cattle are the core of our farm, and most tasks revolve around their care, feed production and pasture management. Farm-direct meat sales of pastured chickens, turkeys, eggs, beef, and outdoor pork are supplemental ventures that provide variety to farm chore activities.
Details:
- Location: main farm yard near Dapp, as well as pastures near Rochester and Pibroch
- Position length: 4 months minimum with flexible start and end dates (April/May to August/September)
- Wage range: $18.00-$20.00 per hour - dependent on prior experience and is open for in season increases
- Lodging on farm is available upon request
