• Young Agrarians (YA) Farm Tour was led by Rod and Briana Carlyon, and our farm's YA Apprentices provided speaking highlights on the chicken and beef operations in August 2026. We were joined by farmers from various areas and various stages of farming; just getting into it and working on transition with younger generations. Check out this short video linked here of highlights.  
• Interview with Alberta Beef Producer's on our farm's involvement in mentoring the next generation and wave of farmers through the Young Agrarians Apprenticeship Program. The farm started hiring YA apprentices in 2022. 
• Connect Cafe organized and hosted by University of Alberta, Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences (ALES). Rod, Janet, Andria and Jessica participated as hosts to chat with students about our farm and the Future of Food in 2050. January 31, 2017
